Gord Capital

The family office capital company. The mandate, the allocation policy, and what permanent capital makes possible.

Gord Capital holds the money. Permanent capital means no fund life, no vintage year and no date on which anyone must be repaid, and that single structural fact is what lets the group underwrite infrastructure that pays back over fifteen years rather than products that pay back over three.

It publishes what it will and will not underwrite rather than describing it on request, because an allocation policy that exists only in a meeting is not a policy. The register of positions — instrument, percentage, date — is kept by the parent; this property explains the reasoning that put them there.
